- Great atmosphere in this pub which is off the track a little. Nice lunhces and great staff. Galway Bar of The Year 2010 too!

- Great venue and excellent atmosphere. Have fantastic live music in the main pub. Monroe's Live is a great venue, very spacious and nicely refurbished. Good staff and lovely food. An all rounded pub, doesn't disappoint.

- Excellent bar that also serves nice food.The staff are really friendly also.There is a new upstairs part now called monroes live.It is quite steep at leasst 10 euros but they do get very good bands in to be fair!Seems to be quite popular with the locals which is a good sign

- Excellent bar for Irish entertainment, live music (downstairs and upstairs). Great staff and a friendly atmosphere and shows most major sporting events. Food is hearty traditional with men size portions Truly a gem just a few minutes off Quay Street (where prices for everything then rises).

- very nice bar the pizzas are lovely and the staff are very nice went here once and it wasnt even a busy day but when i went in here it was over packed and there was no where to sit

- Lovely pub for something to eat and a pint. They have their own pizza shop next door, and you can order a pizza in the pub. - great pizza went here once after visiting a relative..the staff are very nice and the pizza's are very cheap and very nice too..they have a small restaurant which is very confirtable and a nice place to grab a pizza

- A great all round pub, always got a crowd usually with music and dancing, great atmosphere. You can order its legendary pizza and sit down with a beer and soak up the vibe. Great for food, a quite drink or lotsa craic later on

- Great trad pub showing all sporting events and is the celtic supporters bar for galway and you can have a lovely pint of guiness by the open fire with also the best pizza in galway

- This place underwent a complete refurbishment some years back. I used to go here regularly. Great place that always seem to have really good bands playing. Across the road from Roisin Dubh and up the road from the Spanish Arch... happy days.
